Peanut Butter Caramel Mousse

This mousse gets super thick and it is made with Tofu! I used this Healthy Caramel recipes made with tahini and dates.

Some mousse recipes use either nuts or banana like in this banana mousse so in this one I want to show you another example on how to use tofu in desserts! Tofu makes everything creamier and thicker.


1/2 pack of Tofu (I use soft)

1 cup Oats

2tbp Soya Butter

2tbp Dates Caramel

4tbp Tahini Caramel

Peanut Butter

Oat Cream


First of all the oats need to get cooked so it is safer for us to eat. Bake them in a tray for 15 minutes at 180ยบ.

Mix the oats with the soya butter and 2tbp of dates caramel, put them on the bottom of the cups and save them in the fridge.

For the mousse, add the tofu, the peanut butter and 2tbp of dates caramel in a blender and blend until smooth. Add the oat cream to make it as lighter if it is too thick.

Fill the cups with the mousse and add a layer of tahini caramel on top. Save in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours and it is ready to eat. Enjoy!
